The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is the holy grail of classic 911s, a car built purely for speed, precision, and driving pleasure. Launched in 1972 as a homologation special for racing, it was the first 911 to wear the Carrera badge, setting the standard for every RS model that followed.

Its 2.7L flat-six engine produced 210 hp and 255 Nm, allowing this lightweight (1,075 kg in Sport version) to rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and reach 240 km/h—insanely quick for the early ‘70s. The legendary ducktail spoiler, designed for aerodynamic stability, became an iconic Porsche trademark.
